We are excited to host our Annual Thanksgiving Youth Baseball Clinic this November 20th – 21st for 3rd through 8th grade student-athletes! This camp is designed to enhance your child’s understanding and ability for all aspects of the game including hitting, infield, outfield, pitching, catching, baserunning, mental game, competitions and more!
This camp will include small group rotations, drill work, mental game practice, competitions, and more! Our goal is to help your child learn new skills and to sharpen their current skill set. Here is the layout for each day:
Monday, 11/20/23: Defensive Focus
Check In: 845AM
Start: 9AM
End: 12PM
Small group rotations including infield station, outfield station, pitching station, and catching station. Every athlete will get an opportunity to participate in each station helping build their overall skillset and understanding for the game.
Prior to games, we will take all athletes through our Visualization Breathing Practice designed to help build confidence, trust, and belief in oneself. We will end the day with competitions and fun, competitive games.
Tuesday, 11/21/23: Offensive Focus

Start: 9AM
End: 12PM
Small group rotations include two on-field rotations and two cage groups. Depending on size, we will incorporate a “Mental Practice” station focusing strictly on approach, routines, and mindset at the plate either before groups or during groups.
Prior to games, we will take all athletes through our Visualization Breathing Practice designed to help build confidence, trust, and belief in oneself. We will end the day with competitions and fun, competitive games.

Attire: Baseball Gear including Pants, Belt, Hat, Turf Shoes, etc.

Coaches will include:
Willow Canyon High School Coaching Staff: Austin Byler, Andrew Potter, Frank Boyle, Tony Troftgruben, Lorenzo Tejeda, Scott Young, Francisco Miller, as well as guest coaches Steve Guberti, Brock Johnson, and current Willow Canyon Baseball Players.
Please bring all baseball gear including bats, helmets, gloves, cleats, and anything else you would bring to a typical baseball practice. There is a water fountain in the dugout, but please bring your own water and snacks to ensure proper hydration.
